Your Internet browser is an extremely important tool. As we work and spend an increased amount of time online it is extremely important that the browser [Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Chrome] you use is as current as possible. In many cases your computer lets you know when things need to be updated and this often includes your browser. In some cases you may have to check things out yourself and in the case of ProLearn [Moodle] all browsers are not equal. This is especially true if you are using an older browser that has not been updated in a while or you are using a browser that is not fully compatible with Moodle. So! Just to make sure things will work in ProLearn as well as expected here is a link to a Moodle Browser Check. Click on the link and make sure all things come up green...if not then update or change according to what the checklist tells you.

If you would like to build and facilitate a new Professional Development or Informational course in ProLearn please use the Course Request function. Once logged in click on the All Courses link at the bottom of the My Courses [left side of screen] block. At the bottom of the courses list you will find a Course Request button...click on the button and fill in the form. You can also find the Course Request link at the bottom of the Main Menu....either way you will be taken to a form to submit the course request online.

For those of you who have facilitated courses within ProLearn please note that some have now been turned off. If the course has not seen any activity for at least 5 weeks they have been hidden from view. If you would like the course turned back on so that they can been seen in the Course Categories listing please let us know. We would like to keep the listing as up to date as possible while keeping it as simple as possible.
All you have to do is send Stu Harris an email indicating which class needs to be activated. |
